Neuse Sport Shop Memorial Day Weekend Giveaway – Official Rules

The Neuse Sport Shop Memorial Day Weekend Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is sponsored by Neuse Sport Shop (“Sponsor”). By entering this Giveaway, participants agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Giveaway.

Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and legally binding.

Giveaway Period

The Giveaway begins on Friday, May 23, 2026 at 12:01 AM Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) and ends on Monday, May 25, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST (“Giveaway Period”).

Entries submitted before or after the Giveaway Period will not be eligible. Sponsor’s computer and/or official timekeeping device shall be the official timekeeper for the Giveaway.

Eligibility

The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the State of North Carolina who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry.

Employees, officers, directors, managers, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children, and their respective spouses) of Sponsor, as well as persons living in the same household of such individuals, whether related or not, are not eligible to participate.

The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

How to Enter

Eligible participants may enter the Giveaway during the Giveaway Period by any of the following methods:

Limit one (1) entry per person, per calendar day unless otherwise stated by Sponsor.

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Making a purchase will NOT increase the odds of winning. Winners do not need to be present to win.

Incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, automated, or duplicate entries may be disqualified at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

Prizes

The following prizes will be awarded:

Total approximate retail value of all prizes: $1,845.

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason.

Any applicable federal, state, or local taxes associated with prize acceptance and use are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Winner Selection & Notification

Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period. The drawing will take place on or about Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

Potential winners will be notified by telephone, email, mail, and/or other contact information provided at the time of entry within five (5) business days following the drawing.

If a selected winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within forty-eight (48) hours of notification, is found to be ineligible, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify the winner and select an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Prize Pickup & Delivery

Prizes may be claimed at either Neuse Sport Shop location in Kinston or Cedar Point, North Carolina. Winners may also request shipment of prizes within the continental United States at no charge, unless otherwise determined by Sponsor.

A valid government-issued photo ID may be required to claim prizes in-store.

Sponsor shall not be responsible for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, or unclaimed prizes once delivery has been attempted or arrangements have been made with the winner.

General Conditions

By participating, entrants grant Sponsor and its designees the unrestricted right to use entrant’s name, likeness, city/state of residence, photograph, voice, statements, and/or prize information for advertising, promotional, publicity, and marketing purposes in any media now known or later developed, worldwide, without additional compensation or notice, except where prohibited by law.

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, suspend, or disqualify any individual from the Giveaway if fraud, technical failures, unauthorized intervention, or any other factor impairs the integrity, administration, security, fairness, or proper functioning of the Giveaway.

Sponsor further reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to be tampering with the entry process or acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

Release of Liability

By participating in the Giveaway, entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless Neuse Sport Shop, its owners, officers, directors, employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and representatives from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, injuries, costs, or expenses arising out of or relating to participation in the Giveaway or the acceptance, possession, use, misuse, or non-use of any prize.

Sponsor makes no warranties, representations, or guarantees, express or implied, regarding any prize, including but not limited to its quality, condition, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Privacy

Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s privacy practices and will be used solely for the administration and promotion of the Giveaway and related marketing communications unless otherwise prohibited by law. Participants may opt out of any emails, text messages or other marketing platforms at ANY TIME.

This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Meta, Shopify or any other social media platform or third party entity.

By participating, entrants understand they are providing information to Sponsor and not to Facebook, Instagram, or any other social platform.
